PRESSURE FORMING
Specializing in the more complex process of pressure forming, Trans Form delivers parts nearly indistinguishable from those made by injection molding. Using more refined tooling, pressure forming allows the intricate detail, crisp definitions, small corner radii and textural flexibility previously restricted to high pressure fluid processes.
- Minimum Draft Requirements
- Undercuts and Inward Flanges
- Embossed/Debossed Areas
- Highly Finished Formed Openings
- Details, Graphics, Characters Molded in
- Texture Variations on One Surface
THERMOFORMING
The thermoforming process applies heat in a controlled environment to a commodity or custom engineered plastic sheet. Using vacuum, the softened and pliable plastic sheet material is drawn over a mold, cooled then released. The thermoforming process is ideally suited for prototyping, low to mid-range production or higher volume applications using multi-cavity molds and semi or fully automated forming and trimming equipment.
- Relatively Low Tooling Costs
